Since 1983, Tri-City Lacrosse has managed to fund its operations entirely through player fees. Our costs include insurance, field usage fees, field maintenance fees, charges for referees, purchasing of jerseys, funding support personnel (e.g., score keeper, ball "boys"), and tournament fees. Due to increasing costs, it is becoming difficult to fund our operations through player contributions alone.
To aid in fundraising activities, we are pleased to announce that the Tri-City Lacrosse League is now a 501 (C)(3) Not-For-Profit organization (i.e., Tri-City Lacrosse).
We are currently seeking funding and land donantions to support the following activities scheduled for the current season:
- Development of a lacrosse camp for area schools (boys and girls)
- Support all league related activities
- Participation in the Lake Placid "Summit" Lacrosse Tournament
- Promotion of our website
Our main focus is obtaining a land donation to facilitate league play and providing league sanctioned lacrosse camps for area youths. We would require 12-25 acres of land within a close proximity to the Utica/Rome area that is accessible by main roadway.
Another way you can help is by shopping through our affiliate links. Clicking on the Buy.com, Eastbay, or Amazon.com links found on most of our pages before
shop will allow Tri-City Lacrosse to collect a small commission on your purchases. The commission is provided directly to our organization
at no extra cost to you. Buy.com, Amazon.com, and Eastbay are reputable online stores that provide safe/secure shopping. They are not required to charge sales tax and
often provide deals on shipping charges as well. Shop with confidence as you receive discounted pricing on your favorite goods through Tri-City Lacrosse, and you'll help
fund our sport and the programs we provide the youth of the Mohawk Valley.
For more information about donating land, money or your time, please contact Geno DeCondo (736-5747).
Thank you for expressing interest in Tri-City Lacrosse.
