Come help us “break in” the new Nexus Center in downtown Utica, NY! The Nexus Center is a state of the art facility built for holding large tournaments. Complete with a restaurant/bar and coffee shop.

- Date & Time: 12/28/2022 9:00am to 3:00pm
- Format:
- HS Boys Varsity Ages (9th-12th grade boys)
- Games played inside hockey arena on field turf
- 8 v 8 (2 Def/Attack, 3 Middies, 1 Goalie)
- Long poles allowed
- HS (modified) field rules (see mods below)
- Round robin to determine seeding, championship bracket
- Games:
- All teams play 5, 30 minute games
- Certified refs will be used for all games
- Schedule: Coming soo
- Cost: $900 per team

- Rules:
- HS Field Rules with the following additions:
- Fighting: any fighting, leaving the bench due to others fighting will result in expulsion from the tournament. Team gets 3 minute penalty.
- Mercy Rule: No faceoff if team is down by 10 goals. Losing team gets the ball at the midline.
- Checking or pushing a player into the boards results in a 1 minute penalty
- Players cannot engage the faceoff middies while the ball is free in the center circle. Free ball for middies if it exits the center circle.
All concessions and shops will be open!!
